ST. CROIX, U.S. Virgin Islands (September 9, 2026) – The Virgin Islands Water and Power Authority (“WAPA” or “the Authority”) advises customers on St. Croix of a scheduled power outage on Thursday, September 10, from 12:00 a.m. to 4:00 a.m., affecting customers served by Feeder 5A and a portion of Feeder 4A.
The outage is necessary to conduct maintenance work in the Sion Hill area.
Approximately 3,899 customers are expected to be affected:
- Feeder 5A: Approximately 2,843 customers in Mary’s Fancy, Sugar Mill Villas, Strawberry, Ginger Thomas, and Queen Ridge Condos.
- Portion of Feeder 4A: Approximately 1,056 customers in Sion Farm, La Grande Princess, Tan Tan Terrace, Rattan, Constitution Hill, and Sion Hill.
