U.S. VIRGIN ISLANDS – The Virgin Islands Water and Power Authority (“WAPA” or “Authority”) would like to inform customers and community members on the island of St. Croix of a two-lane road closure on Queen Mary Highway west of the Emancipation Drive intersection tomorrow, Thursday, April 4th, 2024, from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Motorists traveling along Queen Mary Highway/Centerline Road west of the Emancipation Drive intersection should choose alternate roadways throughout the day. Traffic control and flaggers will be present.

The purpose of the traffic diversion is to allow the Authority’s Water System Maintenance crews and contractor, Marco St. Croix, to excavate as part of the Waterline Rehabilitation project.
