U.S. VIRGIN ISLANDS – October 29, 2024 – The Virgin Islands Water and Power Authority (“WAPA” or the “Authority”) is urging all WAPA retirees to participate in this year's Health Benefits open enrollment period, running from November 6 through November 16, 2024. This year’s enrollment is critical as it includes a significant change in benefits that is only available for enrollment this year. Retirees who do not participate within this period will not be able to access this option at a later date. 

To help WAPA retirees understand and take advantage of this one-time opportunity, WAPA will host a virtual enrollment event and in-person enrollment assistance sessions in each district: 

• In-Person Event – St. Croix: November 6, 2024, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Caribbean Cinemas on St. Croix 

• Bentek Assistance will be available from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM and 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM 

   

• Virtual Event: November 7, 2024, from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM
